Connectedness is a priority for the retention initiative and there are several ways our scholars construct their networks of care, mentorship, and professionalism. From academics to wellness, we hope to build community with you during your time at UC Davis.
AandPI Alumni Series and Boba Mixers
Students and scholars are invited to meet with alumni to discuss their experience post-graduation. This quarterly professional development and networking event is a way for alumni across industry to speak on the intersections of their professional work, their educational journey, and identities as Asian and Pacific Islander people. This series is co-hosted by the Career Center and the Cross Cultural Center, and includes a moderated Q&A session with our invited alumni.
AandPI Community Care Events
In collaboration with Community Advising Network counselors, the community care events center wellness and encourage mindfulness, meditation, stress-relief, and reflection activities with fellow students. These events are held quarterly in-person and virtually.

These gatherings are open to all students and provide space for shared reflection, dialogue, and relationship-building.
